Rating: 9/10

This book is a book that demands to be felt especially if you know someone with an addiction. This book talks about how addiction affects the children of the addict(s). I found that Casey was a very relatable character and accurately portrayed the child of an addict. This book is not light  but rather dense in topic. It does not have a stereotypical happy ending. But the ending and the denseness fits what the book is trying to convey. The book mostly plays on the observer’s denial and when it comes to Casey, he is the prince of denial.
